Proteins are important, and it is very important to get them from the right sources. Black beans, lentils, garbanzos, almonds, pistachios, tofu, soy milk, fresh fish, eggs, chicken or turkey are excellent sources of different proteins.
Last, you should limit the intake of salt per day, no more than one teaspoon every day. Be careful when you eat out, avoid canned products, processed foods and cut down potato chips and pretzels.
